News!!! I'm so excited to report that one of my favorite raven beads
called "Under the Winter Moon" has won the Grand Prize in the Annealer
Magazine's "In Time for the Holidays Contest" and is featured on the
cover of their winter 2009 issue! This issue is jam-packed with great
articles and tutorials by many wonderful glass artists and there is
even a short version of my new tutorial inside that shows how I made
this particular raven bead. This is an issue you don't want to miss!

Welcome to my gallery of handcrafted glass beads! I am a full time glass bead artist and have been lovingly creating my beads since the Autumn of 2000. Here you will find samples of my range of work from dramatic focal beads to rich and fanciful bead sets. There are also galleries featuring my aroma vessels and a new Designer's Gallery featuring the work of talented jewelry designers who have used my beads in their creations!
Each of my glass beads are handmade one by one in my studio here in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I create these beads using an oxygen and propane fueled torch and use glass imported from Italy as well as specialty glass that is created locally. I often add other elements to my beads such as pure silver, enamel powders and special reduction frits which give the beads unusual and interesting finishes. Each bead is properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln straight from the torch for lasting durability.
To purchase my work, please visit my Available Work page where you will find links to my Etsy store and further ordering information. I will also be at some fantastic Canadian bead shows this year as well as the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee in June! (Booth 1157). Check out my Shows page to see where I'll be and drop by my booth and say hello if you can! You can also follow my Blog for regular show updates, new beads and studio news!
